Who is a Tween or Teen?
Anyone Grades 6-12 is either a Tween or a Teen, this means they can attend programs available for Teens. The term Tween refers to Young Adults In Between Children and Teenages. This generally refers to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade (ages 11-14). The Children's Room does buy books appropriate through 6th Grade, so there will be books in both the Children’s Department and the Teen Corner that are appropriate for Tweens.
