In the Children's Department we offer fun and exciting programs every day of the week, as well as many different special events and club activities throughout the four seasons. The chickens are coming...
...in January! This January we will be incubating eggs once again in the Children's department. Drop by, check it out, and learn tons about Chickens!
Monday Stories & Activities!
On Mondays from 4:00-4:45 pm come and relax at the end of the day with afternoon stories and fun story-centered activities. This program is geared for children in K through 2nd grade)

Looking for something fun to do on Tuesdays?
Drop by the Library Community Room, relax, and make some creative projects together. We have supplies and assorted projects spread out for you and yours to create with at your leisure. Feel free to drop in Any Tuesday between 3:00-4:30 pm
Wednesday& Friday Storytimes!
Join us for songs, fingerplays, stories, and fun and easy crafts every Wednesday and Friday morning in the Library Community Room from 10:30 to 11:00 am.. These are drop-in programs, so no registration is required.

What should I read next...?
We are getting in a lot of great new titles...and have a wealth of favorites to choose from in the Children's deaprtment.
Sometimes it can be hard to decide what to read next...! Please don't hesitate to ask any of us for book suggestions, or to request a title for you which might be checked out. (Usually we can get these titles into your hands pretty quickly)
We have compiled a large notebook of suggested reads across the different genres for you to browse and are featuring different booklists, book displays, and genres on a rotating basis in the Children's department.
