This summer you can walk around town and the library and explore a scaled down version of the solar system. Find each planet and learn interesting things about space. You can pick up a Map at either the Adult or Children's department circulation desk!

Come and Explore the Stargazers Garden ~ just outside the Children's department on the lower level of the Library!

Something's Cooking!
As part of our programming, every week or so, we feature a new recipe at the Children's Desk. Cooking is a wonderful way for children to learn new words and spend time with a parent. We also hope that this helps your family explore the world through cuisine.

What should I read next...?
We are getting in a lot of great new titles...and have a wealth of favorites to choose from in the Children's deaprtment.
Sometimes it can be hard to decide what to read next...! Please don't hesitate to ask any of us for book suggestions, or to request a title for you which might be checked out. (Usually we can get these titles into your hands pretty quickly)
We have compiled a large notebook of suggested reads across the different genres for you to browse and are featuring different booklists, book displays, and genres on a rotating basis in the Children's department.
