ART EXHIBITS IN THE LIBRARY POLICY
The Dover Town Library encourages exhibitions and displays of paintings, photographs and other art works. An "Artist of the Month" program is administered and coordinated by a member of the Friends of the Library, under the direction of the Library Board of Trustees.
All exhibits are the responsibility of the Library Director, under the supervision of the Board of Trustees. The Library reserves the right to set reasonable regulations including content, space and time limitations.
The purchase and acceptance of gifts of art by the Library is governed by the same principles outlined above. The Board of Trustees will be the final authority in the display, and or disposition of such works.
